Closet Cravings August/September 2020

August and September are notoriously fickle months here in Wyoming. 

August can have days in the low 100’s while the nights and early mornings can be cold enough for your windows to frost up and your breath to be seen.

September will have a few gloriously warm days…only to snow a week later.

I usually use this time to wear as many dresses and open-toed shoes as I can because I know it’s going to be time to trade them out for booties and sweaters soon!

Here’s a look at three outfits I put together based on what I’ve been craving for my own closet for August/September 2020.

This look is casual and oh so cute! Keep it trendy with the jean skirt or wear the always in style jean shorts. I love this kind of look with a simple stud earring and no other jewelry. The t-shirt gives you a chance to show your personality and white shoes keep it casual AND adult. Knot the t-shirt to show off your tummy or do the front tuck to keep a slimmer silhouette. Throw on a leather jacket if it’s turning cooler and you’re ready to go.

It’s rodeo time in Wyoming. Even if you don’t plan to actually attend any, you can totally still dress like it. In Western wear, the ’70s are back and these Wrangler Retro Flare jeans are my favorite things evvverrr! If you’re heading out for a night on the town throw a leather jacket over this look because as soon as the sun goes down it’s going to get chilly. Side Note: I paired the jeans with chunky open-toed heels but they look just as cute with cowboy boots.
