Trunk Club Unboxing and Try On: Spring 2018

One of my subscription boxes, PSJustFab has been discontinued…sigh!
So I did some digging and after a bit of research decided to give Trunk Club a try.
Trunk Club does subscription boxes for both men and women and is part of the Nordstrom Company.
While I LOVE Nordstrom it’s not where I normally shop. Not only is the closest Nordstrom 4 plus hours away, but their prices are usualy more than I feel comfortable spending.
I decided to take a chance and I’m so glad I did…they specifically have an area in their styling quiz that allowed me to let them know how much money I felt comfortable spending on each item.
Add to that a preview of items (and a chance to say no thanks and explain why) and a LIVE CHAT with a stylist that allowed me to clarify my wants and needs, and I was pretty darn excited to get this box…I mean trunk 😉
Take a look at the video…if you want to skip ahead past the lengthy explanation of the rules go for it…I totally get it lol!
Oh, one other thing. I filmed this with my new iPhone to see if it was better than the camera I’ve been using. Next time I’ll turn it on it’s side. Sorry you’re having to learn along with me…but I will say this way makes me look really slim!
So what do you think?
I was really impressed with the fit of all the items. And while there were for sure a few things that weren’t my style (hope I didn’t offend any hipster readers) I am thrilled about the blazer and the shoes.
Am I wrong to dislike the seamed jeans?
What about the tan dress pants?
I think the floral blouse may be a bit too low cut….

I liked all the outfits on you, even the ones you didn’t like.
I didn’t love those loafers but I liked the short boots.
I know, as I edited the video I liked the hipster ensemble more than I did originally, but it just isn’t me! I love the booties too, and I would have thought the loafers with the cheetah like pattern would appeal to your rocker side!
I definitely vote no on the brown pants. You are too cute for those.
Also in the video, it looked like the low cut blouse was a little too big on you. I would have tried sizing down.
Agreed, watching the video as I edited did NOT improve my opinion of them. You may be right about the blouse, I ended up returning it because I didn’t feel comfortable with how low cut it was…a smaller size may have been better! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
I wasn’t a fan of the mom jeans. I liked some of the clothes. They looked great! Just too pricey!
