The Plague Has Arrived

You may have noticed that there was no new post yesterday.

Today’s title “The Plague has Arrived” may have clued you in to the reason why.

I currently have 4 out of 5 Cowkids home sick. Two with a stomach bug and two with Strep.

Such is mom life right?!

Normally this is no big deal, but this week is kinda the worst week ever (slight exaggeration) for this to happen. The Cowboy had to take off work to handle the sick kids on Monday and Tuesday because I was in Denver for Dr appointments with my oncologist and surgeon. Thankfully everything looks good, and I had some time to enjoy myself a bit after hours and hours….and hours spent at the hospital. I returned home worn out and to a house of seemingly on the mend kiddos.

Ha Ha…little did I know what God had planned!

I’m not really upset about canceling my plans for today, or even having to call off the weekend away with The Cowboy.

It would have been nice, but I know we will plan another one soon.

There were some moments of stress about how I would manage tomorrow’s appearance on K2 Good Morning Wyoming and my radio segment on K2 AM1030 at 9:15! Thankfully, The Cowboy has since come to my rescue (love that guy) so everything can go as planned.

I’ll just be wearing a lot heavier makeup than usual tomorrow 😉
