Prairie Wives vs. Pinterest: Beauty Episode
Posted March 18, 2016 by Prairie Wife - 3 comments
Hey readers, sorry about the delay…you’ve been asking for this video ever since we posted our Prairie Wives vs. Pinterest: Holiday Episode…but things have been a bit crazy for us and some big changes have been going on. But finally, we were all able to get together and try out some of the pins you’ve been sending us. You’ll have to excuse the kid noises in the background! We weren’t able to get a babysitter and between the four of us we have 15 kids (and half of them are 5 and under) so it was a bit hard to keep them all quiet lol!
Over all our beauty video actually went really well. We managed to squeeze in 2 DIY face masks, 1 DIY hair mask, and two makeup tutorials…and it will only take you 5 minutes to watch!
BonitaBlueEyes even asked me to let you know that she wanted to change her rating to 4 out of 5 lipsticks. She was so pleased with how the hair mask made her hair look after she took a shower the next day, that she’s committed to doing it every week!
Take a look and let us know what you think…and don’t forget to keep on sending us those Pins to try 🙂
Here is the link for the 2 Ingredient Milk Facial.
You can find the rest of the pins we tried on our Prairie Wives vs. Pinterest Board.

Very cute, thanks for the afternoon chuckle. I’m glad most of the Pinterest pins worked in your favor. I’d say that blending make-up one though was too much work (for me) and I’d worry that it would melt off if I had a hot flash which luckily have been fewer lately.
Keep up the good work ladies, there are a ton of more pins to test out for us.
Lol I have to agree, I save the contouring for special occasions! Glad to hear your hot flashes are getting better…I hear that’s one of the possible side effects of my preventive mastectomy surgery 🙁
