“It’s My 42nd Birthday” #giveaway

It’s my 42nd birthday!

Like most 42-year-olds who are also mothers, I currently have multiple kids participating in multiple sports. This means we aren’t doing anything particularly special to mark the occasion.

So, I thought it would be fun to celebrate my birthday with a giveaway—a chance for YOU to win a little something!

The idea for this actually began as we were all hanging out together on Facebook Live while I unboxed my Spring FabFitFun Box, and I admitted that I tend to regift at least several items I receive in my box.

After that video, you took to the comments and let me know you’d LOVE a giveaway.

So here it is…

First, I’m going to list everything that one lucky winner will get, and then I’ll include the RaffleCopter form that we use for giveaways!

  • Beyond Yoga Backpack
  • Form: My Daily Check-In Journal
  • “The Guncle” by Steven Rowley
  • Bloomingville Woven Seagrass Coasters
  • Apothia Aromatic Diffuser
  • Winter Flower Embroidery Kit
  • Cela Seed to Skin Scrub
  • First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads
  • “Rowdy Randy” by Casey Day Rislov and Illustrated by Zachary Pullen (signed)
  • “The Rowdy Randy Wild West Show” by Casey Day Rislov and Illustrated by Zachary Pullen (signed)

NOTE: This post is NOT sponsored by or associated with FabFitFun

Because some of the gifts are from local author Casey Rislov and Wind City Books, you can earn extra points towards the giveaway by showing them some support too 😉

  1. I love getting older each year because I know the knowledge I gained is experience and that in turn, turns into power ❤️

I just have learned to be a stronger woman for my family and teach my daughters kindness to others. I am also so much wiser. If youth but knew what age could tell.

Each year I get older I care less about the trivial stuff and focus on what is most important in my life! God, husband, family, friends!

The older I get the more I realize the little things don’t matter. Also, I’m enjoying my gray hairs coming in and learning to love the wrinkles and extra pounds.

With age comes a greater appreciation for life’s simple pleasures – a beautiful sunset, a warm cup of tea, a leisurely stroll in nature. I do enjoy the senior discounts that I’ve earned too!

    Happy birthday!

As I get ready to enter the 40-land, I am finding deep appreciation for having the privilege to be where I am at in life surrounded by my amazing family and friends and living a wonderful life! Aging with Grit and Grace right???? 🙂

I realize now that no one makes us happy. That comes from within. And I understand (really understand) that the opinion others have of me is none of my business. That’s freeing.

With age I have learned to be myself more and more!

    Love you beautiful friend!

Thank you for your kind words, and I will definitely let you know.

  17. Eunice Justice says:

First of all…Happy Birthday!!! What I like about getting older is you learn that the simplest little things are all you need to be happy. My kids are all wonderful adults, I have 9 amazing grandkids, I am a lot closer to God than I used to be and find time each day to study the Bible! I perfectly happy at the age I am and wouldn’t want to go back.
