Gifts for Young Children

If you are a parent of young children I am sure that you already have a pretty good idea what gift your little Cowkids are craving this Christmas. So, I think of this gift guide as something more for the Grandparents, Aunts/Uncles, and family friends that just aren’t sure what to get for the children in their life. Most gifts are under $20 and as always click on the pic to go directly to the site or to find a store nearby that carries it!
Infants and toddlers
All of these toys have been big hits in our house over the last 7 years, and they have all stood up to the test of time. Make sure you also check out our post about board books.
Preschoolers
These are toys that can keep even the busiest 3 year old content and “quiet” for at least 15 minutes (and if you have a 3 year old you know that’s a victory)! And, I just had to include a book because my kids just love to read!
School Age
To me this spans from kindergarten to 2nd grade. This is when they start getting into toy trends, and other children at school really start to influence what they like. So, while I try to keep with the classics, sometimes the biggest hit is a trendy toy!
Pre TeenThis is the age when shopping can get a little tricky, the toys tend to be a little more expensive and it can be hard to figure out just what they want. Hopefully these gift ideas will help you score that big smile from a special child!
