Beat the Wyoming Winter Blues with a LEGO® Party #Giveaway
Posted December 8, 2017 by Prairie Wife - 36 comments
This week we had out third snow storm and it’s safe to say that Winter has come to Wyoming!
I have to admit that I am pretty excited because I have now become an obnoxious Winter Sports lover! I can’t wait to hit the mountain next week and snowshoe. The Cowkids are also thrilled at the prospect of sledding and snow fights this weekend.
But, let’s be real. What’s fun and beautiful now is going to get old by the time it’s February. The Winter blues are a real thing in Wyoming!
One of the coolest parts about blogging is the chance to learn about new products and businesses and sharing them with my readers. Read a bit about Snapology (and how it can help you stay sane through the next 9 months of winter) and then enter to win a LEGO® brick set of the Snapology mascot Sebastian!
Snapology is a nationwide franchise.
They provide hands-on interactive activities for children ages 1-14 using LEGO® bricks, K’Nex and technology. They create STEM learning experience’s through classes, workshops, camps, birthday parties, school field trips, scouting events and more. They also offer amazing franchise opportunities that are affordable flexible and can provide quick profitability.
How will this help you beat the Winter Blues?
Just find the Snapology location closest to you and head on over for a fun (and educational) class that will keep you and your children entertained for hours! They also have a dozen different birthday party themes to choose from. The Jurassic Park® party would be a dream come true for Cowboy C, and Cowgirl G would love a LEGO® Friends® party. Snapology also offers after school programs and Summer Camp opportunities.
Hold on though, it gets better! Many of you may have noticed that there has been a big push to get more STEM programs into schools (which I think is amazing). Snapology has put together STEM programs that are available for purchase. From classroom curriculum to assemblies and teacher education programs they have everything you need to offer the best in STEM education to your students. They can even help you apply for government grants to help fund these programs.
Sadly there is no Snapaology in Wyoming, but they are on the hunt for someone to open a franchise. I can tell you that my kids and I would be there all winter long lol!
NOW it’s time for a fun giveaway!
To enter to WIN a LEGO® brick set of the Snapology mascot Sebastian (ages 6+) let me know in the comments why you think Science, Technology, Engineering and Math programs are important for our kids!

I love to add science, technology & math activities to our daily play to increase problem solving skills.
STEM is super important. I’m fortunate that my kids find it fascinating and want to learn.
It helps them learn and broden there thinking abilitys
It’s imortant for a well rounded education
Anywhere there is cold weather needs a Snapology for these cold months
I love that it makes learning fun.
STEM is important because it helps kids explore and understand the world around them. 🙂
They need this knowledge for everyday day life..
i think they are important because that is the future of our world and what is necessary to make advancements in life!
STEM is important because they need to learn all subjects and find what they are good at and interested in.
I think they are important to teach kids so they know about many subjects.
It can help broaden their horizons and show them that learning is fun. These subjects help kids explore their world and expands their creativity. It opens them up to a whole new world of fun and learning.
They’re important because STEM skills are our kids’ future if they’re going to have a good life. Career paths are getting more and more bifurcated — either you have the specialized education and skills for a job in the technical/information sectors (i.e. STEM fields) or you’re likely to end up in a much lower-paying and less intrinsically-satisfying service-economy job. By the time my kids are grown, I expect this division will be even more pronounced. There just aren’t as many well-paying and satisfying non-STEM jobs as there were 30 or 40 years ago.
STEM are an important part of life!
I personally thing that classes that teach math, schience, reading, history, ect, are way more important to our youth and classes that teach them what to think. We need to teach them the basics and give them the skills to explore themselves
It is important because lots of good jobs are in those fields!
I think it’s important to expose them to STEM, the arts, physical activities- basically a bit of everything. I have a daughter so I like to make sure he has a chance to explore many different areas to find her interests.
I think they’re important to get kids thinking and using their imagination. It’s nice to see kids get excited while using their brain.
I think it’s important to make sure that we continue to advance as a society.
Yes they are important! It helps kids explore and learn more of the world that they live in!
I think it helps connect ideas and thoughts together for kids to see a bigger picture of what they are doing
It is important because there will be a lot of opportunities for kids with these skills.
There is so much technology out there that does the thinking for everyone. Science, Math, engineering, and technology are so important to help kids use their brain and imaginations.
It helps them use their brains in different ways! To think outside the box!
STEM programs keep our kids on their toes…thinking up new ideas, learning important logical concepts, bringing the future to now! Even if they end up not going into these careers, it gives them a good base for learning and doing anything else!
it helps them to think outside of the box
I think they are good as those are the fields that good jobs for them when they grow up.
To help our children adjust and learn more in our society today.
I love STEM and I have always used STEM in teaching my daughter. These type of activities are lots of fun for my daughter.
I think it’s goid for kids to use their imagination and science is good for that
STEM based programs and play early in life builds skills and interests that serve children throughout their school years, and later in life. By exposing students to STEM and giving them opportunities to explore STEM-related concepts, they will develop a passion for it and hopefully pursue a job in a STEM field.
I think these programs are vital to our children. The skills they learn for these programs prepare them for the future.
It can help broaden their horizons and show them that learning is fun and also relevant. These subjects help kids explore their world and expands their creativity and helps them connect it to the real world.
I love the kids to have toys that help them build and learn. Might get an engineer when they grow up.
They are educational as well as fun to learn.
Snapology is a wonderful program! I love going there with my nieces.
