LIVE With Wake Up Wyoming Discussing Stalking Laws In Wyoming
Posted April 2, 2025 by Prairie Wife - 4 comments
On Monday, March 31, 2025, I had the opportunity to talk LIVE with Glenn Woods of Wake Up Wyoming and share our story of how a 41-year-old woman stalked our daughter and her now boyfriend. While we were unable to get justice for our children, we are working alongside Brian Boner and other Wyoming legislators to change the laws in Wyoming so that an adult stalking a minor is a felony.

Want to help us make Wyoming safer for our children?
Write an email to your local legislature and tell them you support changing the stalking laws in Wyoming so that an adult stalking a minor is a felony. Please encourage them to look at our current grooming laws and ask them to see how they need to be updated to protect victims from the new technology that criminals are using to prey upon our children.
Share our story far and wide and let people know this kind of thing DOES happen in Wyoming, but we CAN save future victims if we keep talking about it and advocate for change!

Great inerview.
Thank you!
Fantastic interview. What an incredible oversight in Wyoming law. I hope you are able to get this corrected soon.
I am wondering how the stalker can continue to live in Glenrock? Small towns especially don’t offer the anonymity of large towns, and it seems it would be difficult for her and her family with every one knowing what she confessed to doing.
We are definitely doing all we can to work on it, and have some great support from across the state! Marcie still has supporters and there are many that despite the conviction and confession are saying she did not do these things…We can’t change the minds of others if they don’t want to see the truth. We are focusing our energy on spreading the word to keep our community safe and changing some laws!
