Cheeseburger Pizza

Cheeseburger Pizza was one of our favorite meals to order for carryout at our small town’s pizza place. Unfortunately, this family favorite restaurant recently closed down…
A few weeks ago, I began to CRAVE their Cheeseburger Pizza, so I decided we needed to try making it ourselves.
It was a huge hit, and my only regret is that we made just one of these pizzas because the Cowkids were fighting over who got the last two pieces and completely ignored the Pepperoni Pizza I made!
At the end of the recipe, I shared a few ways you can mix up this recipe to make it fit your family’s tastes.
Cheeseburger Pizza
Prep Time: 20 min Bake Time: 20 min
1 lb Ground Meat (beef, elk or deer)
1 TBSP The Traveler’s Dust Seasoning
1/4 Onion Chopped
Small Bag of Frozen Fries
Pizza Dough (make your own using this recipe)
Fry Sauce (make your own using this recipe)
2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Thick Sliced Dill Pickles
- Turn oven on to 375
- Place french fries into the oven and bake until golden (they don’t need to be totally done)
- Cook Ground Meat, Traveler’s Dust Seasoning, and Onion on Medium Heat
- While Meat is cooking, make/roll-out Pizza Dough
- Evenly cover Pizza Dough with Fry Sauce
- Cover Fry Sauce with 1 1/2 cups of Shredded Cheese
- Evenly sprinkle ground meat and onion mixture over the cheese
- Place pickles and fries on top of the meat
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the toppings
- Bake Pizza for 20 minutes or until crust is deep golden and cheese is melted
- Serve warm with extra fry sauce for dipping
ADD ONS: Black olives, tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, or cooked bacon crumbles
