A Weekend With Prairie Wife at The Historic Elk Mountain Hotel

Enjoy a weekend of inspiration and rejuvenation of your mind and body at The Historic Elk Mountain Hotel with Wyoming’s own Prairie Wife!
The Elk Mountain Hotel was built in 1905 and has been proudly serving its guests for 120 years. The Elk Mountain Hotel is situated along the banks of the peaceful Medicine Bow River. It sits among the cottonwoods at the gateway to the Medicine Bow National Forest in the quaint little Town of Elk Mountain, Wyoming.
Join Prairie Wife for a weekend focused on creating a life you love…and getting out of your comfort zone! Enjoy a meet-and-greet and dinner on the first evening, and then spend the rest of the night relaxing, stargazing, and making new friends. Saturday begins with breakfast and a morning meditation with Candace Machado of TheraExpressions Meditation. A 3-mile-long moderate hike led by Prairie Wife will take you into the Medicine Bow National Forest and will offer just the right amount of movement and beautiful views. Enjoy lunch in the mountains brought to you by a pack string of llamas (yes, llamas).
Take some time to freshen up after your hike before you sit down for a one-and-a-half-hour workshop led by Prairie Wife. The topic is “Taking Chances and Creating Adventure in Your Everyday Life.” Dinner will be followed by community time under the stars while staying warm next to a beautiful Fire Pit. End your weekend on Sunday morning with Candace, enjoying a gentle Morning Yoga Session followed by breakfast surrounded by new friends. AmandaJoPhotography will be along for the entire weekend, helping us capture all the special moments to ensure it’s an adventure you’ll never forget. *Limited to 30 People

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: In the rush of our lives, we often spend so much time working through each day that we forget to make time for adventure! I’m not talking about jumping out of a plane (though if that’s your dream, go for it), I’m talking about taking chances and trying new things! Daring to dream big has somehow turned into something that causes anxiety and fear instead of giving us inspiration and hope. During this hour-and-a-half-long workshop, we’ll take a look at our everyday lives and find out what has been missing…and then make concrete plans to add in adventure to fill those gaps!
