Gifts That Give Back

Sometimes things happen in my life that make me realize the blessings that I have been given. Over the last few years I have had a friend whose child passed away from cancer, and a sister that battled breast cancer. When these things happen I always find myself wanting to find a way to give back. There have been several Christmases when I have been inspired to give my friends and family a gift that gives back. Sometimes I simply donate the money I would have spent on gifts, and let them know in a card what I have done in their name. Other years, I surf the internet and find a charity that sells gifts and donates a large part of the profits. Below are links to a few of my favorite charities.
