Our Ongoing Fight for Justice: Sharing Our Stalking Story One Video at a Time

For over two years, my family has been living through something no parent should ever have to experience: the stalking and harassment of my teenage daughter by an adult woman. Our daughter’s current boyfriend was also a victim.

I’ve chosen to share this journey openly on my website and on my social media accounts. Not just to help me process what’s happened, but to bring awareness, offer hope, and start the conversations that HAVE to happen here in Wyoming and beyond.

While you can also find this content on Instagram and TikTok, I feel that it’s easier for everyone to watch the video via the Facebook platform.

Going Public With Our Stalking Story

Description: For a year, my daughter and the boy who is now her boyfriend were stalked, harassed, and bullied. The stalker used anonymous text messages, emails made to look like they came from teachers, and social media accounts made to look like their peers. Wyoming, we’ve got some work to do. Our families cannot receive justice, but I’m going to do everything I can to change the story for others.

Due to Wyoming’s lack of laws protecting our children, the 41-year-old woman who stalked my daughter and her now boyfriend for a year walked away with 2 years of unsupervised probation. PLEASE take time this weekend (before April 8) to email your local legislators and ask them to add HB189 back in as an interim topic and vote yes to passing it and protecting our kids next February! Call to Action for Upcoming May Judiciary Committee Meeting

We created these videos to show Wyoming (and the world) the need for change, accountability, and compassion for victims of stalking within our communities.

Through every post, every video, and every message from another victim or parent going through something similar, I’ve been reminded that we are stronger when we refuse to stay silent!

Thank you to everyone who has offered support, shared our posts, and stood beside our family during this incredibly painful and challenging time.

Please know that your voices have helped us stay strong. I know that together, we can keep fighting for safer communities for Wyoming’s children.

How Can You Help Us?

Watch. Share. Speak Up. Each time you share our videos and other content, you help shed light on stalking, harassment, and the need for legal reform in Wyoming.

Email your local legislators. Email your local Senators and Representatives and tell them you want them to VOTE YES on our Stalking Law changes in February of 2026. You can find a list of all of Wyoming’s legislators here.

Support Other Victims. Give other stalking victims a safe place to share their feelings, validate their fears, ask them what they need, and encourage them to talk. When we speak out loud about what was done to us, we erase shame and take our power back.
