Join the Conversation: Protecting Our Kids in a Digital World

Posted November 10, 2025 by Prairie Wife -

As a mom of five, I know how challenging it can be to keep our kids safe online. You can do everything right, and yet, evil can still find its way in. My family learned this the hard way when our teenage daughter was stalked by an adult woman, an experience no parent ever expects to face. Walking through that heartbreaking situation opened my eyes to how vulnerable our children can be, even in a close-knit Wyoming community.

That’s why I’m partnering with Uprising to host a series of events focused on protecting our kids in a digital world. This winter, we’re bringing this important conversation to Cheyenne, Casper, and Sheridan. By sharing our story and combining it with expert insight and opportunities for community discussion, we hope to educate and empower Wyoming parents with practical tools to recognize warning signs, initiate tough conversations, and help their children thrive safely in today’s connected world.
