Posted December 16, 2024 by Prairie Wife -

Christmas Crack, aka Saltine Cracker Toffee, is a new addition to our favorite holiday snack list!

We use a cookie sheet with edges to make this dessert, but you can also use a glass baking dish.

For an extra festive touch, gather all the leftover Christmas sprinkles and mix them together so you can sprinkle your Christmas Crack with a bit of extra “bling”! Head to the bottom of the recipe for more topping ideas.

NOTE: Switch your sprinkles up seasonally to make this dessert on any holiday.

Ingredients
2 Cups of Dark Brown Sugar
2 Cups of Butter
2 Cups of Chocolate Chips

  1. To prep for making this dessert, spray the cookie sheet/baking dish with nonstick spray and then line it with parchment paper.

  5. Pour the mixture evenly over the crackers and back in the oven for seven minutes.
  6. Remove the pan from the oven and cover evenly with chocolate chips.
  7. Put the pan back into the oven for 1-3 minutes or until chocolate chips are melted enough to spread evenly.
  8. Add sprinkles/decorations while the chocolate is soft.
  9. Refrigerate to cool, then break into pieces and store in an airtight container.
