StitchFix Unboxing and Try On: Summer 2018

Posted July 31, 2018 by Prairie Wife - 4 comments

It’s time for another Stitch Fix Unboxing!

My last one was wonderful, and after two years of doing this I can confidently recommend Stitch Fix to all my readers! Just follow this link to learn how you can order a box for yourself!

This time I asked for Summer items that would mix and match with other things in my wardrobe. Now that I’m working again, I could use a few more things that are business casual or can be elevated by adding fancier accessories.

Take minute to watch this unboxing and let me know what you think!

I didn’t think I would like the shorts, yet ended up loving them…I even wore them to work.

That right there is the reason I love subscription boxes. It forces you to try new things, and more often then not, I end up loving what my stylist picks.

I know that white blouse is going to get a lot of use, and the gray bra is cute and fit perfectly!

That blue skirt though…is it just me that thinks it looks like couch fabric?

And the Draper James skirt, while cute, will I really wear it enough to justify the cost?

I can’t wait to hear what YOU think!

Blue skirt….No. Draper James skirt….better, but not quite. Are you perhaps more in love with the idea of the brand than the skirt itself? Shorts, yes yes yes. And the rest are already in your “keep” pile. Like to see someone try to pry them loose from you…

Susan I agree with you…I think I am more excited about the brand rather than the skirt, and for that much $ I don’t think I should keep it. And yes lol I dare you to try and get that white blouse from me 😉

I think all of the clothing looks great on you. Like you said I’m not sure about the blue pattern on the blue skirt but I think the shape of it looks great on you. I think the other flower skirt looks cute. I don’t love the lavender top for the price. Maybe the material makes it feel worth it but for $34 for me at least I could find something similar at the mall in my town for a cheaper price. But I know you don’t live down the street from the mall like me. The white top, same thing, it’s cute but for the price I don’t know I just can’t really justify it. The shorts are cute they look great on you.

I agree with the skirt the pattern is a no go, shape not as bad! The lavender shirt went back for the very reason you said, OK but not enough for that coast! The shorts were a for sure keep 😉
